obviously like your website however you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to inform the reality on the other hand I'll definitely come back again.

Thank you Dorthy! I appreciate it very much, and will add a bit more information that may be of some assistance as it is closer in time. It is a bit confusing as the name was spelled different depending on who wrote it down. There were 3 sons of William that stayed in the Ballymoney area, Dennis b.1877 Taghey d.1966? didn't marry I think, next is Samuel b. 1879 Taghey d. 1958? didn't marry I think, and Joseph who married Agnes Leslie b. 1890? from Ballymoney, father was William Leslie. I do not know if they stayed in the area or not. Joseph and Agnes had 5 kids Dennis, Hugh, Annie, Sarah, and Samuel. Thank you again for your time. Catherine

Hi
I was wondering if you have any information on the McCahon/McCaughan/M'Caughon family, or if they are buried in the graveyard. If so, I shall certainly buy a book :)

John went to Canada (my line)
John' father was William McCaughan b. 1835? (no other info as yet)
m= 12 May 1867 Sarah McMath, father Hugh McMath
William & Sarah are both interred in Knock Road Cemetery in Ballymoney, and I found them on the 1901 & 1911 Ireland Census.

William's father was Dennis McCaughan of Seacon, Ballymoney Northern Ireland, according to family lore. I have no information on Denis for me to go back further as yet.

William had 7 kids:
John (Canada)
Hugh b. 26 Aug 1870 m= Flo? possibly had a son, England?
William James b. 21 Dec 1872., Lived in Scotland, surname maybe "McGahan", unknown.
Alice Knox b. 5 Dec 1875 m= Dick Roxborough, 6 kids
Sarah m=Joseph Shields, William, May m= J.R.E. Dowling, John, Alice, Richard Jr.
Dennis b. 6 Dec 1877 - Aug 1966, of Enagh. No issue.
Samuel 1879....April 1958 , no issue.
Joseph 1884....April 1958. m=Agnes Leslie, 5 kids.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Dorothy,

Do you have any information on the McListers' of Eastermead Gardnes in Ballymoney. They were Covenanters from the south of Ballymoney.
Thanks
Mc

Hi Eileen
Found Thomas and Annie in 1901 census.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Dunloy/Garryduff/945978/

and 1911 Census.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Dunloy/Garryduff/129708/
Noted that Annie changed her religion listing from Presbyterian (1901) to Seventh Day Adventist (1911)

Would appreciate anything else you have.

1901 Census: Jane Atkinson Townsend. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Dunloy/Garryduff/945967/
This is the same Jane Townsend listed in Rasharkin 1851 Census, the mother of my Great Grandfather's (John Atkinson Townsend) My Great Grandfather is listed in the 1851 census as 2 years old. She is a grocer.

No. He was a Presbyterian Minister. But I have located his mother, Jane Atkinson Townsend, in the 1901 Census living with Andrew (Grandson) and Martha (Andrew's Wife) Townsend. Jane and Andrew are listed as Baptist, but Martha as Presbyterian. Were the Atkinsons Baptist?

Please send info on how I may purchase your book. My Daniel McLease left Larne in 1776 on a ship that landed in SC . He was born in about 1750. Any info on this family history would be helpful. Do you have any? Email is s.mccleese1@gmail.com
